Pamela Whytnot, LCSW
Pamela Whynot provides respectful, compassionate, affirming, and collaborative mental health therapy for people who have a diagnosis of autism, neurodevelopmental, sensory, cognitive, or physical disability. She also provides therapy services for those who provide guardianship or support for an individual with a disability. Her clients may be experiencing difficulties due to symptoms of depression, anxiety, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and/or substance use. They want to feel better, gain control over their life, and learn how to tap into their own strengths and coping abilities to live the life they desire.
With years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities and their care teams, Ms. Whynot utilizes a strengths-based and solutions-focused approach. Her emphasis on a client’s right to define and direct their own life helps clients develop the skills for long-lasting emotional and behavioral wellness.
