Was able to get a psychotrist within 3 months, but then she left the practice and I was told I would get a call for a new one. I did not until I messaged about needing meds. They then tried to say they did call.
I have also been waiting over a year for a therapist.

I was referred to boston neuro behavioral by my primary care physician who was prescribing my medications only because my psychiatrist had left her the practice, my pcp took over prescribing until I could find a new psychiatrist. She ended up writing a referral for BNB. I got a call in a timely manner to set up my first appointment with Gerald Gene. He called for our telehealth appointment a couple days later. His first question was why I was seeking mental health treatment, I told him the situation that my pcp took over prescribing me my psych meds only because my psychiatrist there had left the practice and was willing to continue with my prescriptions until I found a new psychiatrist. He asked me why I needed a psychiatrist if I already had a doctor prescribing me my medications. I told him that my doctor wanted me to be able to be in the care of a psychiatrist rather than a primary care physician, that I was still very depressed even with taking my medications and it would be better to see a psychiatrist if I needed to change medications and or dosages. For some reason he didn’t understand that. I told him I really need some med changes or adjustments and he just said that I can’t become his patient because I was already being prescribed by a doctor. I mean, is this guy for real? I couldn’t believe it! I’m a person trying to seek help from a psychiatrist for my depression and he just wouldn’t listen to me. He said that my pcp should not of referred me to BNB and basically to go screw myself. We ended the conversationand hung up. In my honest opinion this psychiatrist Gerald Gene should not be a psychiatrist. I was very upset by the way I was treated, Not to mention this telehealth appointment only lasted 3 if not 4 minutes. I was so upset when I got off the phone, I would absolutely not recommend this so called psychiatrist to ANYONE seeking help with their mental health.

I saw Arianne Zorn and the 1st appointment went ok. She told me she did not feel comfortable prescribing me anything because I was waiting on psychological testing to come back. She made another appointment for the following Monday and said that if I did not receive the paperwork on that day, to call and she would make the receptionist aware and push my appointment up a few days. The receptionist said I had to pay a fee for a cancelation because it was within 24 hours. I explained what Arianne had instructed me to do but said thats fine, Ill keep the appointment but it would be a waste of both of our time. About 10 minutes later the receptionist said that Arianne made an exception for me to move the appointment. The following day I called to see if Arianne had an email I could send the paperwork to and the receptionist told me to send it to her personal email. I told her I did not feel comfortable doing that because it was confidential. She then huffed and puffed and said then just use the portal which I was unaware I could do. We ended the call. I was a little frustrated with the lack of communication but fine, I got her the report and I had a new appointment. I then get call from Arianne Zorn who calls and instantly when I pick up she says: DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM... I was caught of guard and I explained the situation. She started scolding me that I need to cancel 24 hours in advance but she advised me to do it the day of, she went on to threaten me and say she would drop my as a client. I feel that this is extremely unprofessional for a mental health provider to bully a patient suffering a mental health crisis just trying to get help. After that call, I felt gaslit, bullied and the lack of trust was completely gone. I would not refer this women to my worst enemy. I had just gotten back from a mental health facility for a suicide attempt and I feel if she does this to somebody else, they may not be alive to talk about it. I am trying to switch providers but this has been a process and don't know if I should just move on at this point. It took me months to find a provider and was let down two days before my appointment. I plan on filing a claim with the nursing board and I hope this is taken seriously. It is infuriating that is so hard to get help with mental health in MA. I hope Arianne finds some peace in her life and does not feel the need to call patients and degrade them because of her miscommunication.

Getting in contact with a provider is like playing tag. Every time I call, I get bounced between 3 different receptionists that seem confused when I tell them I need to speak with my provider. Furthermore, every time I have a Telehealth appointment, my prescriber never sends me a zoom link. I sat in her zoom waiting room for over half an hour just to be called on the phone to be reminded I had an appointment. I know, I was prepared. This practice seems like there is a lack of communication. In my case, I’m trying to come off a very complicated medication and getting in contact is now a task, which is dangerous.

I’ve had wonderful conversations with the people who work there. I’m looking forward to seeing a psychiatrist but all the people when you’re online waiting with that beautiful music soothing you testing your patience though also but it was wonderful. I suggest some rock ‘n’ roll. Also, in there that would be wonderful, thank you

My experience is they have very caring psychiatrist. At least Dr Minuir Jr. Who I find truly has insight to his patience. I recommend him highly.

My psychiatrist is amazing. He listens to my concerns and we make decisions based off that. He is smart and attentive. I have been with him awhile and I cannot imagine having anyone else. This is the first psychiatrist that has actually listened to my concerns and my questions a bit meds and my diagnosis and how I feel and how I manage in the real world. I cannot say enough about Dr Munir.
