Jamie Sullivan

Jamie Sullivan, LMHC

Has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and is licensed as a mental health counselor in Massachusetts. She has been in the human services field since 2011 and has a very diverse history, including positions in inpatient and residential treatment, outpatient counseling, foster care management, in-home therapy, intensive care coordination management. Jamie has a significant amount of experience and knowledge in dealing with substance abuse issues, depressive and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and ADHD. Additionally, she has experience with domestic violence, the Department of Children and Families (DCF), foster care regulations, and the Massachusetts legal system.

Jamie's therapeutic approach pulls from several different types of therapy: she is based foundationally in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also able to utilize techniques from other types of therapy as needed. She sees each person as the "expert" of their own feelings, and holds everyone in positive regard, without judgement, while also focusing on strengths. Jamie aims to create a comfortable, supportive, and safe space in which to share and develop.

Outside of human services, Jamie is a dog lover and enjoys hiking with her dog, reading, and technology.
