Dr. Jenny Stinson

Dr. Jenny Stinson, Board-Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist

Specialties: Neuropsychological Evaluation, Cognitive Assessment, Neurological Conditions

Dr. Stinson earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston, followed by a predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. She is board certified in clinical neuropsychology by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology/American Board of Professional Psychology. Before joining BNBA, Dr. Stinson worked in academic medical centers, where she collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to support individuals with a wide range of neurological and psychiatric conditions.

She specializes in neuropsychological evaluations of adults with neurologic conditions, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, brain injury/stroke, and dementia. Her goal is to work with patients and their loved ones to clarify their cognitive strengths and weaknesses in order to help them live a life of purpose and meaning.

Neuropsychological testing offers valuable insight into how the brain is functioning, helping to clarify diagnoses and guide treatment planning. Dr. Stinson partners with patients and their loved ones to foster a clear understanding of the diagnosis, symptoms, and likely progression—while connecting them with resources and support for moving forward.

If you or someone you care about is facing changes in memory or thinking, neuropsychological testing can offer clarity, support, and a path forward. Reach out when you're ready—we’re here to help.
