Doug obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology and his Master of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from University of Massachusetts Amherst. He went on to work in the Emergency Department at Emerson Hospital, and attended MCPHS University Manchester where he earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. While there, he discovered his passion for psychiatry. Doug worked for several years as well for Access Sport America, where he focused on inspiring higher function and fitness for children and adults of all disabilities through high-challenging sports and training. Doug is passionate about supporting others on their journey with mental health, and highly values compassionate patient centered care. During his free time, Doug enjoys cooking and working out.
