Cheryl Y. Neilsen, AGNP-BC
Cheryl is a board certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of experience in a variety of health care settings. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Worcester State University in 2009 prior to pursuing her nursing degree. In 2013, she received her Master's of Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Medical School located in Worcester, MA. She has worked as an Nurse Practitioner in several different areas of medicine, including primary care, student heath, home care, correctional health, and long term care. Her primary passion, however, is for geriatrics and fostering acceptance of the aging process.
Cheryl's goal at BNBA is to use therapy and medication management to help individual's minimize their symptoms and maximize their skills in order to achieve a higher level of overall health.
In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys watching and playing several different sports, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her loved ones.
