Cheryl McGuire, NP
Cheryl is an ANCC board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Boston Neuro Behavioral Associates she has practiced in a variety of settings as an adult Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse. These experiences have included providing geriatric behavioral health care, including psychotropic medication management to residents of skilled nursing facilities within a multidisciplinary approach. She has provided in home care performing annual in-depth health risk assessments for patients in their homes and long term care facilities. Cheryl previously worked at Wrentham Development Center as an ANP providing primary care services including annual physicals, managing chronic and acute medical conditions, psychiatric medication management and monitoring in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team of the residents there. She previously worked as a Registered Nurse at hospitals in New Bedford and Fall River on med-surge, surgical, and rehab units.
Currently she provides comprehensive outpatient and behavioral health care with a holistic approach for adults that includes medication management for anxiety, depression and mood disorders.
