Barbara Livingston, LICSW
Barbara is a graduate of Adelphi University, State University of New York at Stony Brook and the State University of New York at Farmingdale. She has a Bachelor and a Masters Degree in Social Work with an Associate's Degree in Correctional Administration. Post graduate she is a trained McMaster Model Family Therapist. Barbara has been practicing in the field of Social Work since 1980 in New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She has been in the New Bedford area since 1987 with an extensive direct care and managerial background working with families, couples, individuals,and groups. Her primary focus has been on crisis intervention, medical management, and dual diagnosis. She has been with Boston Neurobehavioral Associates since 2011 during which time she has also worked for Southcoast Hospital Systems, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Child & Family Services. Currently, she is working full time practice at our New Bedford office Monday through Thursday.
