Andrew Phenix - PA
Andrew Phenix (he/him) is a Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong background in both hospital medicine and psychiatric care. After earning his Bachelor's in Public Health and a minor in Psychology, Andrew went on to complete his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Northeastern University.
Andrew is skilled in the care of diverse patient populations, with experience in managing a broad spectrum of medical and mental health conditions. His clinical expertise was developed in the inpatient setting, where he worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Andrew has demonstrated a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals facing acute medical and psychiatric challenges.
Andrew has a particular interest in advocating for patients who face barriers when trying to access the healthcare system. He believes it is each clinician's responsibility to collaborate closely with patients to help them overcome challenges and succeed in their care. Passionate about the integral role that psychiatric well-being plays in overall health and happiness, Andrew approaches his practice with a commitment to creating a judgment-free environment founded on trust, open communication, and collaborative problem-solving.
Andrew is eager to work with clients from all backgrounds, aiming to find the safest and most effective treatments tailored to each person. By fostering an inclusive, supportive relationship with every patient, he strives to ensure that each patient receives care that respects their unique needs, goals, and experiences.
He is excited to offer Spravato and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation interventional psychiatric treatments for patients with treatment-resistant depression.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys traveling, skiing, and spending time with his family and friends.
