

Ssali Babumba is a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to helping individuals overcome mental health challenges and lead meaningful lives. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing across the lifespan from Rivier University in Nashua, NH, where he built a strong clinical foundation and passion for patient-centered care.
With over ten years of experience as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, Ssali has worked in diverse settings, including community health centers, behavioral health hospitals, and VA facilities. His background provides extensive expertise in treating mental health and substance use disorders. As both a psychopharmacological prescriber and psychotherapist, Ssali combines medication management with therapeutic communication, education, and holistic care. He prioritizes creating a safe, inclusive environment and tailors’ treatment to everyone’s needs, culture, and goals, supporting those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders.
Ssali is passionate about reducing mental health stigma and expanding access to care for underserved populations. As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), he provides comprehensive, evidence-based services including evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy.
