Nicole is a Physician Assistant with more than 11 years of experience in addiction medicine and over 20 years in healthcare. She works with adults facing substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health concerns, and the challenges that often accompany recovery.

Nicole was recruited to develop and launch the addiction medicine program at New Bedford Community Health Center. She previously served as Director of Clinical Precepting at CleanSlate, where she educated providers in evidence-based addiction treatment and medication management while emphasizing compassion-focused care.

Nicole provides medication management for opioid and alcohol use disorders, treatment options for other substance use disorders, and psychiatric medication management when needed. She works collaboratively with patients to develop individualized care plans that support their recovery goals and long-term stability.

Seeking treatment can feel overwhelming, especially when concerns about judgment, stigma, family, or work are involved. Nicole strives to create a respectful, nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard, supported, and involved in every decision about their care. She encourages patients to take the next step when they feel ready.
