

Dr. Jose M. Morales has shown a long-standing commitment to integrated, whole-person medical care dating back to his early training. His early exposure to sports and athletes introduced him to the value of collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment, sparking a lasting interest in behavioral health and the connection between physical and emotional well-being. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Morales completed his bachelor’s degree in biology before earning his Doctor of Medicine. His clinical work in emergency medicine, cardiology, and behavioral health ultimately led him to psychiatry, the field that best aligned with his passion for helping others create meaningful, lasting change.
During his psychiatry residency in Miami, Dr. Morales deepened his expertise by caring for patients from diverse cultural and life backgrounds. These experiences further solidified his interest in innovative treatments and in teaching his peers. He is known for forming genuine patient connections and approaching care with thoughtful attention and compassion.
Dr. Morales is currently affiliated with Boston Neurobehavioral, where he provides supervision and instructional sessions for APRNs, a role he finds highly rewarding and aligned with his passion for education and professional development. Outside of medicine, he enjoys sports, music, and history—interests that enrich his understanding of human experience and complement his holistic approach to mental health.
