

Debre Kern earned her Master’s in Social Work from Stony Brook University in 2013 and has extensive experience supporting children and adolescents facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including LGBTQIA+ youth. She works best with clients who are ready to take an active role in their personal growth—collaborating to set meaningful goals and work toward lasting, positive change.
Debre strongly believes in self-determination and uses evidence-based tools such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing to help young people understand their challenges and take practical steps toward meaningful growth and lasting change.
Debre understands how deeply parents want the best for their children. She is committed to partnering with families to uncover strengths, ease emotional struggles, and support a child’s path toward happiness, confidence, and fulfillment. She offers a warm, attentive space where healing can begin.
