Ali Altaf is a Physician Assistant with a strong background in urgent care, supporting
patients through moments of crisis, uncertainty, and emotional overwhelm. He earned his
bachelor’s in biology with a minor in Chemistry from St. John’s University and
completed his master’s in physician assistant studies at York College. His experience
treating the whole person shapes his work in mental health.
Ali works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related
concerns. He combines medical expertise with a patient-centered, empathetic approach,
helping clients develop practical coping strategies, regain control, and achieve emotional
well-being.
Understanding that seeking support can feel challenging, Ali meets each client with
compassion and respect. He creates a safe, supportive environment where clients feel
heard, guided, and empowered to engage in meaningful growth and healing.
Outside of work, Ali enjoys traveling, watching basketball, and spending time with
family.
