Alexis Baird, NP
Alexis received her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2002 before realizing that her real passion was working in healthcare. After graduating with honors from Regis College in 2007 she became a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in a variety of settings including family/internal medicine, managing psychiatric illnesses across the lifespan, and has extensive practice working with the geriatric population. Before deciding to pursue her PMHNP certification she worked in an outpatient substance abuse practice where it was evident there was a greater need for psychiatric care. Alexis has a laid back attitude and believes every patient should be treated with respect and compassion.It is very important to her that her patients feel comfortable being themselves without judgement. She believes in holistic care and developing a strong collaboration with her patients.
