Victoria Valeri, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Victoria is an independently licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) with extensive experience providing integrative evidence-based treatment to adults struggling with mental health issues, including, but not limited to, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, phobias, and addiction. Her areas of interest also include relationship, self-esteem, co-dependency, and self-efficacy issues. Victoria works from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective, in which she encourages her clients to recognize and harness their inner strengths so they can better navigate and overcome obstacles and stressors that they may be facing. She incorporates psychodynamic theory, Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) and Positive Psychotherapy (PPT), as well as techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) into her work with clients.
