Paul is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience working in the human services field for over 18 years. He earned his Master of Social work at Simmons University and Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Paul has been in the field since 2019, providing intensive in-home family therapy as well as outpatient therapy. His practice experience includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in a majority of mental health areas, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, codependency, couples therapy, coping skills, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, self-esteem, trauma and PTSD, and grief.
Paul has previously worked as Director of Operations for an in-home ASD agency, and as a federal correctional officer for 16 years providing guidance to federal inmates. Paul is especially passionate about relationships and couples therapy, working with individuals and couples on strengthening their relationships with others. He believes in using different therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Paul is committed to providing a stable, motivating, and safe environment for individuals and couples to identify and reach their goals.
