Michele Ramos, LICSW
Michele attended Roger Wiliams University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Social and Health Services in 2001. She attended Rhode Island College and obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work. Michele is currently a LIcensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and has worked providing support for several different populations in her roles as a medical social worker, a hospice social worker, and a clinical therapist. She believes it is important to find strategies that meet the client's needs and views therapy as a partnership in recovery. Michele has experience providing treatment utilizing CBT, DBT and Mindfulness techniques and is grounded in psychodynamics. She is interested in social justice and environmental issues and the impact on one's well-being. Michele likes to sing, play candy crush and spend time with her children. She spent many years as an organic farmer and describes herself as "a late bloomer."
