Doreen Adams, LICSW

Strongly influenced by her mother, a social worker in our hometown of Watertown, Massachusetts, Doreen began her social work career in 1999 at the Plymouth Women's Center on the overnight hotline, sheltering abused parents and their children. In 2004, during her internship at the Plymouth Correctional Facility in Plymouth, she witnessed the serious consequences of a society in trouble. Doreen has worked with diverse cultures, and with individuals identifying as gay, straight, transgendered and non-binary; and individuals, families, and couples healing from trauma, grief and loss, and transitioning through natural life stages.
