Alexa Bader, LCSW
Bio: Alexa Bader received her dual undergraduate degree from The University of New Hampshire in both Family Studies & Child Development as well as Psychology. She then went on to pursue her Master's degree in Social Work at Simmons University, and is currently working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving a wide client population and range of diagnosis. Alexa has clinical experience working in various settings including outpatient, school-based, in-home and most recently residential as a Clinical Resident Manager.
Alexa provides an empathetic understanding as well as varying therapeutic interventions and resources to best meet the strengths, needs and preferences of the individuals she works with; some of which include CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, Narrative, Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused, Motivational Interviewing and Exposure Therapy as well as substance use, harm-reduction, couples, family and group counseling. Alexa strives to create a safe, comfortable and open space where she can support others through difficult times while also promoting strength, hope and happiness in the lives of all the clients that she serves.
